Project Prototypes
This is a magazine mock-up for an Equine Therapy magazine. The design focuses on healing people through Horse Therapy. The focus of this project targets families who may not understand the benefits of Equine Therapy and introduce them to the system as a new alternative to therapy sessions.
: My goal for this project is to portray how horses can heal the mind, body and spirit. I will target people of all ages who require a laidback form of therapy and are unaware of the benefits that Equine Therapy provides.
The challenged that I encountered during this project is the designing of the magazine and how to deliver the message I wanted it to convey. I wanted to show how horses benefit people as therapy mechanisms and help them heal their mind, body and spirit. The design needed to look like a magazine, but I also wanted the focal point to be the horse to showcase Equine Therapy.
People don’t realize how beneficial horses can be for therapy. I wanted to bring an understanding while designing a great product. The time it took to develop the entire product was time consuming and required a lot of updates to make the final project exceptional.
MHorses are a great therapeutic system to help those struggling and require an outlet to help steer their contentions. The final design allows for people to realize how beneficial equine therapy is and introduces alternative methods to standard therapy sessions. It only takes an introduction of people to equine therapy, and this magazine mock-up is my way to present this alternative therapy method to them.
